The requirements for Baptism are as follows :
* The Request for Baptism Form must be filled out completely
and submitted with the child's Birth Certificate before attending
the Parent Sessions.
*Parents and Godparents must attend TWO PARENT
SESSIONS. These sessions are offered on Sunday afternoons
and are scheduled two weeks before the Baptism.
If classes were already taken in an other parish, please present
the certificate one week before the scheduled class.
*PARENTS
--must be registered members of St. Paul's
--must attend Mass on Sunday on a regular basis
*GODPARENTS
--must be practicing Catholics -- having received the
Sacraments of Baptism, Eucharist, and Confirmation
--must be attending Mass on Sunday regularly
--able to receive Holy Communion
--if married, they must be married by the Catholic Church (those
not married by the Catholic Church are not allowed to receive
Holy Communion)
--they must be adults and they cannot be the child's parents or
grandparents
*It is the responsibility of the parents to notify, and present to the
office, all necessary documentation, information, or
changes in the status of the child's registration.
RECONCILIATION and
FIRST HOLY EUCHARIST
Parents wishing their child to receive Reconciliation and First Holy Eucharist
must enroll their child in the Religious Education Program. Preparation for this
sacrament begins in first grade and is completed in the third grade when the
child receives his/her Reconciliation and First Communion.

"Therefore let us leave the elementary
teachings of Christ and go on to maturity, not
laying again the foundation of repentance from
acts that lead to death, and of faith in God,
instruction about baptisms, the laying on of
hands, the resurrection of the dead, and eternal
judgment"
(Heb. 6:1–2).
Students making their confirmation need to be enrolled in the CCD program.
Confirmation preparation begins at the ninth grade and is completed in the
eleventh grade and must meet the following requirements :
*students must have been baptized and received reconciliation and
first communion;
*students must attend CCD regularly;
*students need to complete a set number of community service hours;
*students must attend retreats.
